Who are we?

Ash + Grove is a Vancouver-based clothing and accessories brand founded by designer, Asha Singh. 

Our manifesto is simple: 
We believe in creating beautiful ethical and eco-friendly clothing with zero or as close to zero-waste as possible. The Earth, animals, and humans should never be hurt for the sake of fashion. All Ash + Grove pieces are unique and are created with love in a smoke-free environment.

The Inspiration 

Founder and designer, Asha Singh, has been making clothes for as long as she can remember. As the youngest daughter of a seamstress, Asha grew up at the foot of her mother's sewing table, fashioning dolls from scrap fabrics, and later creating her own clothes. Not only did her mother pass down a love for fabrics, but also tips and tricks on how to create long-lasting, well constructed garments. With Ash + Grove, Asha forges the time honoured tradition of tailoring with effortless, contemporary style. 

Design & Quality

Good design and quality construction are the backbone of Ash + Grove pieces. In the spirit of buying less, Ash + Grove carries items that can be worn year after year. A stickler for perfection, Asha oversees the conception of each piece from start to finish, and ensures that neither style nor quality is ever sacrificed. 

One of the most important aspects of dressing is fit, as it can make or break the outfit. Ash + Grove offers custom-made versions of all the pieces that are shown on the website.

Styled Consciously

In some ways, Ash + Grove represents everything that the fast-fashion industry is not - intentional, conscious, and slow. Ash + Grove pieces are designed to enhance the beauty of the wearer, as well as minimally impact the environment. The majority of Ash + Grove pieces are designed and created by hand in Vancouver, BC. All fabrics and notions are sourced from local-Vancouver retailers in an effort to support local businesses and to minimize our carbon footprint.
